DITTO.  The point of discussion is argument that reflects upon disparate views, in order to (hopefully) come to some common understanding.


It is also incumbent upon us to do our homework.  Some who are engaged here should read "The Hive and the Honeybee" or "ABC and XYZ of Bee Culture", or the excellent book by Diane Sammataro and Al Avitabile on beekeeping.  THEN ask your questions....you should know basic bee biology before you jump in.  Not that I want to discourage anyone but really, we don't need to reiterate here what is easily found in a seminal book on the subject.
