An interesting study that confirms the existence and dynamics of the fall mite invasion. The take away is as we have discussed in previous threads that a late summer mite control is only part of your annual mite treatment and a good followup post brood rearing and honey storing is in order. Or perhaps a continuous control during this invasion period.
