Greetings all,
Here in eastern Missouri, the dry weather really hit home this fall. I
have been feeding my hives sugar syrup for quite a while now. Stores in
the hives are not great. I was wondering if I should go into each hive, and
arrange the stores that are there, so the majority of the honey is in the
upper box, or leave it alone where it is. I was concerned that so much
major change inside the hive might demoralize a colony that has enough
stress already from the dry fall, and lack of fall flow. Any ideas out
there. Feel free to e mail me direct. Thanks!
