I found that very interesting, thanks for the link.
It would seem to have implications for anyone trying to develop hygienic 
bees, i.e. the removal of infected material could be due to a more virulent 
strain of the bacteria killing the larvae earlier, rather than the colonies 
ability to detect diseased larvae.
