Peter has pointed to a site for beekeepers. Here in the UK, BuzzWorks is a voluntary organisation whose primary aims are "to educate the public about bees" and "to provide training for new beekeepers". See http://www.buzzworks.org.uk.

We particularly focus on school-age kids - catch 'em young - they are the future beekeepers who will pick up the baton.
