And the point that the authors make is that direct exposure of larvae to an
insecticide would be only through the small amount of pollen that is fed to
them directly.  With Megabee patties in my experiment, this appeared to be
close to zero.

The question, then for neonics is whether any is passed via jelly to the
larvae, or whether the pesticide has other effects upon the nurses.
