This is a sample size of only one hive, so I would would be interested in reading any further information on total hive weights under various seasons and circumstances.

>thanks for sharing your data and there is nothing wrong with a sample size of one unless you plan to do some statistical analysis using the data.  basically all that logic is about the math of n-1 and the determination (=) of 'confidence level'... with in the case leaves you the sum of zero if your sample size in 1.
