Sarasota/Bradenton Florida (subtropical):
2003: 4 hives  Lost 1 -- Beetles (What a nasty mess)
2004: 8 Hives  Lost 2 -- Absconding (Wax Moth)
2005: 48 Hives Lost 0 -- But all sold

Iowa Now:
500 Hives 90-95% built and ready to install bees in next few weeks

In all cases, the problems were compounded by forced movement during
infestations, not a good combination.
