It's so nice to finally "meet" people here.

I delurked the other day as a poet who doesn't keep bees but writes fanatically about them. As long as we're getting personal, I want to put out a request for people to send me stories (off-list at [log in to unmask]) from their years of beekeeping.

Any and all stories are welcome, whether it's tales of newbees, adventures in pollination, bees and your personal life, your story of ccd, bear attacks, whatever. If I turn your story into a poem, I'll send you the poem and credit you in my book if it gets published. I read a lot about bees, but it'd be lovely to have some real-life stories to include.

If you do send any stories (and I really do welcome ALL bee stories), please make your subject Bee Story or something so I know to look for it.

Hope this is an appropriate request for this list.

Best,
Erin
