I posted a picture of a wire and foundation embedding jig
I currently use on my bee photo web site:

http://picasaweb.google.com/beemancron/BeePhotos#5555647382490561442

A sweet little unit that I obtained in the 70s when I
started beekeeping. Alas, it is no longer manufactured.

I am wondering, since the trend is back to wax foundation,
is it time to reintroduce this unit back to the beekeeping community?

OR

forget the jig, just let the bees draw their own comb from a 1"
strip attached to the top bar?
