If anyone wishes to help us continue to pursue CCD - its really a red ink
exercise for us, but its something I feel strongly about trying to solve:

You can send donations to support our work to either The University or to
Bee Alert Technology, In.; our MT Board of Regents technology transfer
company, which is affiliated with UM.

1)Any funds provided to the University are tax deductible, but things move
a bit slower, and findings are subject to Freedom of Information - which
is why we mainly conduct the more basic work under UM auspices.

Send to Bee Alert CCD project, Health Science Building, Room 104, Division
of Biological Sciences, The University of Montana, 59812 Attn: Janean
Clark

2)You can also donate to Bee Alert - not tax deductible, but as a private
company, we can do proprietary research, more readily protect
confidentiality, and we don't need approval to spend funds, etc. so we can move on
things a bit quicker.

Send to Robert Seccomb, Chief Financial Officer, Bee Alert Technology,
Inc.; 1620 Rodgers Street, Suite 1, Missoula, MT 59802

Or, send a donation to Project Apis m. or the ABF Foundation, asking them
to earmark the funds for us.

Finally, we must acknowledge our MT research partners - BVS, Inc.; who is
doing rapid, viral screens - BVS is a privately owned company located next
to us in Missoula, and

The Cramer lab at Montana State University. Robb is working with us on
the Nosema aspects of the project.

We try to support each other - sharing projects. I'm often the lead to go
get samples, look at colonies in the field. Robb/Dave Wick/Army do the
analysis work - which we pay them for, when we can.

Thanks to those who asked.

Jerry
