When visiting NYC I got into a discussion with a local beekeeper about things to give to bees to make them "better." She had a list of stuff. I asked her if she felt compelled to take a lot of different vitamins and supplements. I should not have been surprised when she answered with an enthusiastic "Yes!" 

As most of us know by now, most vitamins and supplements, unless prescribed for an actual deficiency, are a waste of money. I suppose it isn't any more wasteful than spending the money on other entertainment, but as Dick says, "a total puzzle to me."
