I work in EMS have been using "latex" gloves for years.  I started using them for my bees about 5 years ago.  I use just the  sleeve part of bee gloves to cover my wrists (have long arms).  Check galls.com for gloves.  They have different thickness and longer cuff lengths.  If you start using them try to stay away from latex  many people have developed  latex allergies form daily use.
