Juanse,

Whilst I was beekeeping in France, the Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa) 
when in bloom produced copious amounts of pollen.
The bees collectedand filled the frames.
It was full yellow in colour - similar to that of Winged Elm (Ulmus 
alata) - see:

Not sure if you are refering to the same tree.
