> I am looking for a 16 hour curriculum, including resources (DVDs,
Powerpoints, books, etc.), to help prospective beekeeping candidates begin
their beekeeping hobbies.

Paul, the Virginia Beekeepers Association has a complete ppt series that all
instructors use (I haven't seen it). I've also noticed that here are also
other resources for such a curriculum on the web. Kinda funny that the
national associations don't provide such as resources! Would be of interest
to produce one in Wikipedia-type format.

What I have personally found, after nearly 30 years of teaching beginners
classes, is to keep it simple! It is way too easy to throw too much info at
them, and then their brains simply overload (of course, I am personally an
information-dense sort of guy, so may be atypical).
