I built myself a solar wax melter. There are plans all over the net for
them. When the wax melts into the bottom pan, it separates from
whatever honey is left. As it cools, it will solidify into a cake which
floats on the honey. The wax appears to get some bleaching from
the sun in the process. Great piece of equipment that works for free
everyday  the sun shines.
