Speaking of mite resistant bees: Tom Parisian, who now runs Steve Tabor's
Honeybee Genetics (the folks who's adds about resistant bees you see in
ABJ and Gleanings) will be speaking at the Santa Clara Valley Beekeepers
Guild in San Jose, CA (USA) next Monday (May 3).  If you want to attend
