Rather using a smoker in summer time. Now use a spray bottle with a mixture of thin syrup with little Honey-B-Healthy. Just spray a fine mist the top of the brood chamber you are working on. Reason: we have had 2 years of very dry weather and a smoker could be dangerous with long dry grass. Also fast for inspections.
