If I got this right, it takes 2.510 kg *per kg of quail* to kill half the
quail(s?).  ( if 1mg=.001kg)
 
Hmmmm...
 
Do we weigh the quail before or after it  eats??  (1.0 + 2.510 =
3.510  (= v. large (stuffed) quail)).
 
I am assuming the dose is to be applied orally, not topically, as
the latter would likely  result in a smothered quail.
 
Pyrethroids are toxic to all cold blooded critters, apparently -- but
not very bothersome to the warm blooded.
 
Ah Ha!  Maybe fluvalinate killed the dinosaurs?
