Wherever the fancy takes them, but preferably 1.8m (6 foot) or higher. Catching
of swarms in the Far eastern part of South Africa takes place with decoy hives
hung in eucalyptus trees at 3m or more. An old queen might not make it all the
way (read last weeks postings) and then drops below target where she simply
stays if a convenient cavity (or access to the same cavity) is found.
