forward reference to two important documents relating to the safety of
bee products.

One was undertaken by a New Zealand parliamentary select committee and
the other by a scientific inquiry established by the New Zealand
Minister of Health. The latter report includes a risk analysis
undertaken by the deputy chair of the CODEX (joint WHO/UN organisation
that sets international food standards) risk analysis task force.

In 1997 German officials were sent false information by the Australian
Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) which directly lead to royal
jelly being banned as a food/supplement. The TGA has even incorporated
fabricated data into official records.
