A method popular in Saskatchewan is to use corrugated cardboard smeared with a
Crisco/menthol mix. The sheet is placed on the bottom board. I've never used
it.

Does anyone know, offhand how effective menthol is compared to formic -- and
vice versa? Is there much difference in the recommended timing of treatments?
