Hi Scott! If you really want to know the difference between the two hive do
the following. Put both hive on a scale and monitor the weight increase. That
will tell you the difference. Years  ago (about 20y)  some co sold some hive
scale (I forget the name of the co who produced those scales). Maybee
something similar can be obtained today too. Good luck.  Attila
