There are little yellow plastic covers for hummingbird feeders that do just
that very thing. They're round and they have a little grid on them that
keeps the bees from reaching the nectar. They'll only work for the kind of
feeders that have tubes that dispense the nectar. The feeders with the
"flowers" flush-mounted into the base of the feeder can't use them. I
found mine at the local hardware store. They cost less than a dollar as I
recall.
