Yes, it does. The exact Bt type is Bacillus thuringiensis var. aizawa.
You can purchase a formulation of it manufactured in Europe for use on honey
bee equipment from a company I believe is called "Beeworks" in Canada. Is
anybody aware of any other beekeeping suppliers selling it for use
specifically with bee equipment? You can probably purchase it cheaper from
organic pest control suppliers, but they may or may not be able to give you
directions for use with bees.
The application directions supplied with the product I purchased are 1
part Bt solution to 19 parts water, and make sure all parts of the comb are
covered when treating comb for wax moths, as the larva must eat it in order
to be affected.
