I purchased my first three hives last July.

I read the recent post of supplying each hive with three medium supers
for honey. After ordering the hive bodies, frames and foundation, I
have begun to ponder.....will it be over-burdensome for the bees to have
to build all new comb prior to honey making? i.e., will I still get a
good honey harvest?
Are there any special steps I need to take in this matter?

Thanks for all your information on the list.
