Re question of pollen traps and supersedure
I've run traps for 16 years, usually seven per year.
I see absolutely NO connection.
As you know, when the queen pheromone is diminishing in the hive,
supersedure kicks in.  This has nothing to do with an installed trap,
IMHO, but with a failing queen.
