Since this is my first year, I can't say how they compare with Porter bee
escapes. I did find they cleared out the supers very quickly (2-5 days).
They seem to work faster when the nights are cooler. They didn't get
every last bee out of the super. I usual only had 10 or so bees left.
Much easier to deal with as a beginner. :-)
