Yeah, I agree -- I have found the frame-cleaner tool to be a real help.
Sure beats a nail or screwdriver, or even a hive tool for cleaning out the
frame grooves. It does take some practice though, and the business-end of
it can be sharp (ouch).
If you set the frames out in the sun, or in a warm place anyway, in a while
the wax softens up a bit and will strip right out of the grooves with the
tool, especially if you make a few even passes, instead of trying to rip it
out all at once. It is a really handy gadget to have around, especially
for cut-comb.
