The "Drone Fly" is a Syrphid fly. It's not a bee, but the little
critter that flies up to a flower, stops dead, and hovers in mid-air.
They are considered a garden beneficial since the larvae eat aphids
and scales.
>A drone is looking a little plump, and have very big eyes. they are =

The drone bee of the hive is not the same insect as the "Drone Fly."
Sorry I don't have the specific name handy, but someone out there
might.
