Hi all,

Perhaps someone can explain to me what is happening here.

I banked 12 queens above a super in a strong queenright
colony with no problems in that all queens were accepted and
fed. However, later, after removing some queens and adding
fresh ones to replace those removed the bees did not accept
them. I assume that they were not being fed and so died.
When more queens were added the same result occoured.

Has anyone experience of this and how can it be overcome?

Cheers,
Philip
