So how do you buy soft drinks?  I usually buy the 2 liter size.  The
point is that there is not a single system of measurement in the US, but
(at least) two.  In my socket wrench set, for example, there are sizes
in both the English (no longer used in England, I believe) and metric.
Why would this be, if one would never encounter a metric bolt in the US?
