I was asked about other sites containing pictures of nectar plants. I just used a web
browser to find examples potential sites. Some refinement of the query will be needed to get
the list to a manageable size. Here is a very quick tutorial about using web browsers.
In finding websites for nectar plant images one can use there web browser of choice and
try various queries and then inspect the hits.
For example from using:
http://altavista.digital.com/
the query
+jewelweed +beebalm
yields 3 hits

another query of
+image:flower* +wildflower
yields 10 number of hits most of them leading to
http://district.gresham.k12.or.us/ghs/nature/flower/flwr.html
-----------------------------------------------
another query
+"basswood tree"
yields
http://www.nysite.com/nature/flora/basswd.htm
which leads to
http://www.nysite.com/nature/flora.htm
with a number of other tree images
---------------------------------------------
another query
="black locust tree"
leads to a site that indicates the latin name of the tree is
Robinia pseudoacacia
so entering a query of
"Robinia pseudoacacia"
yields 183 hits...
You get the idea. Very specfic queries will help limit the hits you need to sift
through.
