I wouldn't charge for removing swarms, but if I have to drive an
exhorbitant distance (more than 30 miles) I would want reimbursement for
gas. Of course, if it takes too long to get there the swarm may be gone.
If you're removing a swarm for a lawyer, give him an itemized bill with a
rate of $125 per hour. Be sure to include the time spent on the phone
taking the initial call, the time spent loading your vehicle, time spent
driving there and back, time spent hiving the swarm. Be sure to round up
to the nearest 1/4 hour for each item.
