Let me respond to what Doyle said by posing a simple question.
Can he spell out to us what he proposes to do when he opens a hive?
If he is not going to employ some physical method of tackling the mite
problem, I for one would say just one thing to him - employ your mumbo jumbo
elsewhere, and do not get in the way of real life beekeepers in their task
of trying to control the mite problem. We have enough problems with the
mites - do not attempt to divert us from the solutions we are using and
developing.
