Hi Scott, one of the problems we have to contend with here in Manitoba is
the crystalization of honey because of extreme cold temperatures,
sometimes exceeding -40 celcius. Therefore we have to feed a sugar/water
or syrup in fall to ensure feed will be in semi-liquid form consumable
by bees during long winters. Regards, Doug
