Pollen Tip
For `beeginners' only.
For best pollen collection, use a superior device
AND make extra certain that there are no other free
entrances on hive since honeybees will find them
pronto to bypass the trap with their precious protein
pellets. I use propolis or duct tape for this purpose or
even a paper towel for stuffing.
Above is based on my experience of trapping pollen since
1982, using 11 different designs. Currently employing seven
bottom-mounted ones made by Stauffer's Beehives RD1 Box 489
Port Trevorton PA 17864 (Amish have NO phones).
