I had a nuc that was queenless and could not find any eggs or larva, I
remove a shallow frame from a strong hive that contained only eggs. I
inspected the nuc a few days later to see if they had built any queen
cells and could not find any, nor could I find a single egg left on the
shallow frame. I don't know what became of the eggs on the shallow
frame, other that that they must have moved them to other frames, or
totaly discarded them from the hive..
