Mr.Stocks by any chance do you know if some of those black Apis m.m.
queens where given to Dr. Roger Morse about eight years ago to bring
back to the States. I got ahold of some of thier progeny and found them
to be a very different kind of bee. They were very nervous and ran off
the comb like africans but they were not aggressive their wax making was
 commendable but they were extremely prone to chalkbrood. Morse brought
them back hoping they were resistant to t. mites, the chalkbrood problem
 overroad any desirable traits and I offed em. Just curious. Rick
