about honey yield, the last issue of bee culture ran a spread sheet
on 8- 9- and 10 frame deep, shallow and 5 1/4" supers showing the
yield of honey, and wax for each.  however, they did not give the
tips, like allan's about the queens avoiding 8 frames.  very useful.
