About 3 weeks ago I bout a NUC from a fellow beekeper and have been feeding
it like crazy to get ready for the cold. But my question is. When I walk up
to this hive at about 3 feet away I notice that the hive has a very distinct
smell to it. It isn't a rotten smell but I have never noticed it with my
ohter colony. I was just wandering if this is normal or if it is something I
sould look into.
