Subject: Criteria for Selection of Beekeeper of the Year, Extension
        Agent of the Year.

>From the President of the South Carolina Beekeepers. We give an
award"Beekeeper of the Year" and Extension Agent of the Year". The
Beekeeperis one who has made significant accomplishments in Beekeeping
this pastyear. The Extension Agent is one who has made
significantaccomplishments in helping beekeepers and the industry in our
state. Iam looking for different criteria for the selection process. I
would beinterested in what other states use in selecting for this award.
Also ifthere is an award given for youth/teenage beekeeper. How do
Beekeeping organization recognize women beekeepers and rookie
beekeepers. I am interested in any suggestions. thanks
Ron Taylor, President South Beekeepers.
