Tim,
While I can understand your reluctance to hive any feral
swarms, I think its very important we all keep tabs as much as possible
on ANY feral colonies. If they have suvived in a mite infested area, it
would be good to know how.This may help to save our apiaries.As I
mentioned before, I have yet to encounter ANY feral bees this year here
in central Va. Although I continue to search, I feel less encouraged with
each passing day.
