Alternatively go to a beekeeper for eggs or queens who has already
>reached that goal. If you wish for peaceful beekeeping may I humbly suggest
>to all beginners that you never, never use queens from swarm cells to stock

At long last a kindred spirit. I have been advocating this method of bee
keeping for many years, but would suggest if you can't resist taking a free
swarm, then requeen as quickly as possible with a nonswarming stock. Who
needs the agravation of swarming bees, plus the loss of honey etc?
