The best information I have on this subject is a copy of the IBRA reprint
M48 "The Rearing and Management of Bumble Bees for Students of Biology"
by Patricia Morgan and Mary Percival. The "text" on the subject comes
from the Logaston Press which has reprinted F.W.L. Sladens' The Humble
Bee which was originally published by the author in1892.
