I checked on a formula for a handlotion listed in Eva Crane's "Bees and
Beekeeping.." and forwarded the information to Liz Day.
The formula calls for "liquid paraffin". I don't know what that is. In
the USA, the paraffin used for canning and candle-making is a white,
solid wax. I think that "paraffin" in the UK is equivalent to "kerosene"
in the USA, but I don't think kerosene goes into the handlotion!
Is "liquid paraffin" possibly what is termed "mineral oil" in the USA??
Any ideas??
Thanks,
Jim
