<Rivka said:>
quit the list. This morning I found more than 10(!) messages on my mail,
all which are 'discussing' beewax. Well this is great, but why should a
list which is assigned for discussion on biology and beekeeping be loaded
with ideas of how to paint eggs. Do please think before you use the
'reply to' to 'all recipients'.

Hello Rivka!
1st, I was not aware this was any one groups own personal list or
that there were published and enforced rules for its general content or
who can use it. Please post it if you have it.
The more messages I get the better as long as they are on the
subject or related to beekeeping. One hundred messages a day would
be great, and sure would open the door to a better understanding
of what you do and what I do. In the future it may be of great advantage
to those in the academic, and research, and regulatory
beekeeping community to know what is on the infertile minds of the
average beekeeper as budgets become slim or non existent with out
some added public support for one's own project. Lets open the door
to better communication, not close it. This technology is new to many
of us poor beekeepers, give us a chance to catch up, we will reward
you with new ideas that could increase your own understanding. We may
not know the difference for an indian head meal month and a lesser
wax month, but we may know how to raise them, control them or live
with them.
In a perfect world you could send the newbees over to the alt.
science.beekeeping news group, but many readers can not get it and
if all did, it would be prudent because of the some of the above that
many who only read here read that news group also.
Anyway its a no win situation and my advice to you is that if you
don't like who or what is written here or it interferes with you day
follow your own sage advice and switch to E-MAIL as some of us are
here to listen and help when we can without regards to others
experience or ability.
