I think, as with all chemicals, proper safety precautions should be
used.  With formic acid, that would naturally include respirator, safety
goggles if not included with respirator, chemical protection gloves and
suit.  Better pick a nice, bu cool, day when you do that because it's
goin' to get awfully hot fairly quickly if it's warm out.
