i think our cursory examinations of the AI we sampled disappointed us in many ways and impressed us in others. 

I actually use the AI search in the Brave browser  fairly routinely and consult Copilot in Edge periodically.  

They have a an error/failure rate that is considerable and observable but are a good first pass. 

I use Perplexity if I want better results and am on a non-political quest. https://www.perplexity.ai

I would actually subscribe to Perplexity but their system does not like my international credit card, it seems and I hate paying credit card currency conversion fees.

What else is out there?  Any recommendations?
