Re: natural resistance

As an aside, I wrote to key researchers in Puerto Rico to get more info about the bees there and especially the effect of the hurricanes on beekeeping. I was rewarded with silence. I can only guess that they are 1) tired of talking about it; 2) trying to figure out how to monetize it; or 3) they decided to keep it for themselves. It would seem to me that there would be no major hurdle to importing bees from PR, but I don't have any info on that at all. Perhaps someone else out there has more on this.
